Stanbic Bank in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Sports launched a quiz competition for secondary schools across Uganda dubbed; The Stanbic Bank National Schools Championship 2015!
The objective of the competition is to help student develop soft skills including but not limited to problem solving, confidence, critical and creative thinking. In addition, the experiential learning will help the students develop self-esteem and explore their identity. All these will prepare the student to be affluent leaders.
In its inaugural year, the ministry identified over 32 of the best secondary schools from four main regions (Central, Western, Northern, and Eastern). The schools will be seeded into regional groups and will compete in a knock-out competition to identify the top 2 schools which will represent the region in the national finals. Subsequently the best 8 national schools will compete in a high pressure fast paced television game show to determine who will be crowned Stanbic National Schools Champions 2015.
